How do I delete text messages off of an android phone?

Q. I just purchased a Samsung Android phone. My service is with Virgin Mobile. I am wondering if anyone knows how to delete text messages that I receive, but don't want. I appreciate your help!

A. you probably just go to the text message screen where it has all of the different contacts you are texting and hold down the one you want to delete. mine and my boyfriend have different android phones and both will pop up asking if we want to delete the thread or view it.

What is the smallest screen resolution there is in Android phones?
Q. I'm making an android phone game and I want my screen resolution to fit the smallest screen resolution there has been that an android phone had. Then if there's another android phone with a larger resolution, I'll just re-size it in a scalar manner and just fill the empty parts with black. So then, what is the smallest screen resolution there has been that android phones had?

A. The smallest screen is probably the HTC Tattoo with a size of 2.8 inches. The resolution of that screen is QVGA (240x320, low density, small screen).

Q. I was wondering if it is possible to upgrade to an android phone on T-mobile when I have a talk and text plan? Would it work if I had them disable T-mobile Internet access on the phone?

A. sorry android phones require internet service to function correctly and t-mobile requires you have data on the plan if you upgrade at the discounted rate. If you want an android phone then be prepared to pay for the data package.

can you download the android market on non-android phones?
Q. I am planning on buying this really awesome phone. But it is not an android phone. I want to know if I can download the android market into it maybe via a microsd card. Is this possible, if so how?

A. Unfortunately, no. For starters, Android Market is designed for Android phones. Therefore, it has to be an Android phone to work. Second of all, the Android Market installer itself is a .apk file which only Android phones can execute. Other phones can't execute these type of files.

What phone are you getting?
